NY DNT-HYTTE PÅ HEMSEDALSFJELLET

Med den nye selvbetjeningshytta Breistølbu har DNT 539 hytter. Finn den perfekte hytta for deg i vinterferien!

Den nye hytta ligger like ved Breistølen på  Hemsedalsfjellet, og er en etterspurt overnattingsmulighet på ruta Tyin-Finse.
 
- En utvidet mulighet for overnatting på Breistølen er noe vi har ønsket oss lenge, forteller eiendsomssjef Jan Erik Reiten. Ruta mellom Sulebu og Bjordalsbu kan være litt for lang for mange og området er værutsatt, så her er det behov for et tilbud. Den betjente turisthytta Breistølen ligger like ved og er et fint tilbud når hytta er åpen. Men i de periodene Breistølen er stengt, er turfolket i beit for et overnattingstilbud.

 

Strøm, vann og matlager

Selvbetjente Breistølbu har tidligere vært en privat hytte og er i god stand. Den inneholder stue/kjøkken med spiseplass til 10 personer og godt med plass i stua. Det er tre soverom, med tilsammen åtte sengeplasser. Her er det også strøm og innlagt vann.
DNT Oslo og Omegn overtok hytta for noen uker siden og har nå satt den i stand til en selvbetjent DNT hytte, med matlager og ved på plass for gjestene. Hytta er låst med DNTs standardlås.


- Vi kan absolutt anbefale en tur til denne fine hytta, forteller Regine Mørk som jobber i Tursenteret i Oslo. Her var det skikkelig trivelig. Litt nærme veien, men nydelig utsikt mot fjellene. Lørdag gikk vi på tur mot Bjordalsbu og kom raskt opp i herlig og vilt fjellterreng. Ekspressbussen Oslo - Lærdal stopper ved Breistølen, bare et par hundre meter fra hytta. Så denne hytta vil vi anbefale som et fint startsted for turer, forteller Regine.
